OK, OK. Some people have complained that since no photo exists of me on this www thing, that I might prove to appear quite spooky in real life. While I won’t contest that reality, I’ve succumbed to the pressure. Here I am with one of my yachting clients (who has become a close friend) Jeff Kruh and his companion while in the BVI, Carol Miner. I’m the one in the middle. We are toasting ourselves and life in the British Virgin Islands. Photo taken December 25, 2010 in “Ciao” moored at Anegada, (the drowned Island), BVI. The highest point of the island is 28 feet above sea level, and I swear that must be a tree! Also, navigation is tricky, since it is surrounded by reefs and the water is extremely shallow. We anchored with less than 2 feet below our keel.
