On October 3, 2015 my boat “Syndicat” was awarded the “Boat of the Year” award for the 2015 racing season. I’m not certain of the exact numbers but my best recollection is that we’ve won this award 7 of the last 10 years. The award is given to the boat which has won the most races the past year, starting in February, ending in October. A winning boat requires at least three things: 1) a well-prepared boat, 2) excellent, error-free crew work, 3) a little luck.
